PARENT PARTICIPATION:

As many of you know, parent participation has been a problem for WSC every year. For last season, we attempted a system of collecting a fee from each family in the same manner as other Warminster sports organizations, expecting to refund the fee to those parents who assisted by volunteering in operating our soccer club. While we did have some volunteers, many activities, like tournament day and trophy night had only one or two volunteers (despite complaints from many people that there were not enough opportunities for families to volunteer). We are still in the process of verifying some of the volunteers working with individual teams in order to provide refunds.

Accordingly, WSC will no longer depend on volunteers for many of the tasks we have requested help with in the past. ALL families will pay the fee as part of the initial registration fee.
